LIMITED EDITION WATTSON LAUNCHES WORLDWIDE

We are delighted to announce the worldwide launch of the first Limited Edition Wattson. The Wattson is a wireless device that can be placed anywhere in the home or office. Through a graphic and colour sensitive display the Wattson shows how much energy each other electrical device around it is using and enables owners to take control over their personal energy consumption. It will help save money on bills, looks rather lovely and will involve owners in a wider community of likeminded people.

Small but perfectly formed, the first Limited Edition Wattson is handmade from reclaimed teak (from an old school science lab), moulded acrylic and contains a hidden world of wires and technology that even we couldn't believe fitted in such a little gem. This first Limited Edition is our flagship model and is available to order now for £350 inc. Vat, plus P&P.

For those willing to wait, DIY Kyoto will be launching a mass production version of the Wattson later in 2006. Less exclusive, but more economical in price, we hope it will spread the message of lowering personal energy consumption to a wider audience.

WEBSITE UPDATE

The DIY Kyoto website has gone live in glorious Technicolor and we have added a few new features that should make you understand more about what we do. Over the coming weeks the DIY Community section will be coming online, it will act as a forum for views on the DIY concept and will aid in the exchange of ideas. Keep an eye out; it should be a lot of fun.
